An Amazing Leader but a Human

A vast majority of the Turkish people, admire their country's founder Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, without questioning. If you don't know him and if you ask who he is, he is the one who created this country and aimed to develop a civilized society with his amazing plans. Nevertheless, people still face some troubles in the community. The main problem is, if you ask Turkish people, the question of why do they love Atatürk, they will, unfortunately, answer, they love him because he is the founder of their country which is an irrelevant answer that reveals how ignorant they are. Indeed, they don't love him because he created this country. They don't even know what methods he used or how did he build this country. People admire him because their parents, their friends, and their teachers love him as well. This indicates, they love him because of the social influence. If they try to find Atatürk's mistakes or if they don't match with his ideas, a reaction will occur and they will be excluded by society. This is what people believe however, this is not what Atatürk desired from them. He had been repeating that people always should search and question everything they hear. No one is impeccable so that's why it is pointless to believe someone's opinion without investigating and criticizing it, even he is a prosperous man like Atatürk. Though, as you can recognize, people are not following his remarks.

So, what should people do? It is not that difficult, even remarkably simple. First of all, they have to learn some details about Atatürk and therefore, they need to read books. For instance, people should learn what methods Atatürk used during the Independence War or his speeches after the war. They will not be able to take other steps without comprehending the information about Atatürk and his views. After accessing pieces of knowledge, people should consider about Atatürk's thoughts and try to create some different ideas. If they find some contrast ideas, they have to compare their idea with the Atatürk's idea. Then they should choose which one is more reasonable equitably. Among this method, Atatürk will be proud of them, since he used the same method when he was alive. Besides, people should not treat Atatürk, like he is a faultless leader. Although, he is a genius, do not forget he is a human, and humans can stumble often. Atatürk was also admired by science and conceivably he was a scientist. The feature that distinguished Atatürk from other leaders, and the reason why people assume he was a scientist, was that he could change his mind with trial and error method. Moreover, it is a well-known fact that without the trial and error method, science would not be science. Therefore, if he has been living right now, he would have felt discouraged, because people believe he is an extraordinary person without examining the things he had done. Thus, people ought to create their arguments and they should recognize that Atatürk was a human as well, but he was just a genius who gave place to science in his life, which led him to become a successful person.

In conclusion, Turkey is a fortunate country to have a leader such as Mustafa Kemal Atatürk. People should respect Atatürk and that's why they should acquire the things he planned or reported, but it is not sufficient to just learn them. They also have to examine his plans and come with opposing arguments. Finally, they should be aware that he is an admirable leader but on the other hand, he can make mistakes because he used science in his life.
