It's all a matter of black and white, it's all a matter of ying-yang

Success, a term also known as ‘something that achieves positive results’ according to Cambridge Dictionary. But, is that really it? Is ‘success’ really just reaching to the ‘positive’ or ‘highly-graded’, ‘valuable’ goals? Or, could it be more than all of that? Could it be something much deeper, meaningful and worthy Some people tend to think that they have reached to a level where they consider themselves as ‘successful’ human beings by relying on, enduring to the unreality that they have reached their own goals. That isn’t unfortunately anywhere near to being successful. People should consider themselves ‘successful’ when they are happy, when they have spread their happiness amongst others whom are around and not around themselves, when they are a part of a society that benefits not only themselves but also benefits others. They should consider themselves ‘successful’ when they stand out and be different. It shouldn’t matter if they achieved the ‘positive results’ or accomplished something, a job perhaps, which was required or expected to be done , because everyone could do those things, right? The social status, economic status or any status should be taken in consideration. Especially money isn’t, and never should be a factor when it comes to the most important thing: being a human. Just because people have money or are privileged, it doesn’t mean that they are smart or superior. They could be, but it’s definitely not a necessity. People should value the fact that not everyone that the society counts as successful are actually victorious because the society tend to opinionate people based on what they see, not on what they observe, not on the actual facts. The thing that should be considered is if the so called ‘successful’ person had learnt something along the way, earned a lesson, had benefitted others, helped others no matter the results; positive or negative. Being ‘famous’, ‘wealthy’, ‘rich’ shouldn’t matter in any terms. On the contrary, being ‘productive’, ‘efficient’, and ‘wise’ should matter. Being ‘creative, ‘open-minded’, ‘visionary’, and ‘out of the ordinary’; being ‘different’ should matter. People who learn, who create, who are passionate in what they do are always successful, people who invest, people who will to take risks are always successful no matter they achieve their goals or not. People who are willing to make a difference in the world or even the smallest audience, smallest society , people who inspire others and themselves are worthy because they are behave brave enough to do, to accomplish the thing that others can’t, don’t even try: to stand out. So, no the definition of success as it is stated in the Cambridge Dictionary: ‘something that achieves positive results’ isn’t true and is certainly not the right state of mind, ideology. Success is being original, standing out, not blending in, being significant, being hopeful, not giving up no matter the consequences. Most importantly, success is being a human, being a human means being right but also being wrong, having ups but also downs, achieving goals but also making mistakes but learning from them; it’s all a matter of black and white they fit just right, they blend just right and they complete each other, they wouldn’t be able to exist without one another. As the quote: ‘Success is a journey, not a destination’ clearly supports; if you want to be successful, you have to be brave and start your own never-ending journey, a never-ending journey of learning, a never ending journey of joy, happiness; sadness, cries; well-being and delight. It’s all a matter of black and white, it’s all a matter of yin-yang.
